History

"The Lakeside Tower Condominiums on South Indiana Avenue are a relatively new addition to the South Loop skyline, having just debuted in 2006, but this location has already made its way onto Chicago's list of "most desirable places to live". Built in the Art Deco style, this incredible building offers stunning views of both the lake and the city skyline and boasts a beautiful modern exterior, sure to make residents proud.

Individual units range from one to three bedrooms and span a similarly diverse price-point, accommodating most anyone who wishes to live near downtown and the lake. To capture these beautiful views, condos feature 10-foot, floor-to-ceiling windows and, in some cases, a private terrace. For those residents who wish to see it all but are not provided the terrace, a lovely rooftop deck includes an incredible garden and a shared grilling area.

Layouts in the Lakeside Tower Condos emphasize the luxury of space. Master bedrooms are punctuated with oversized closets and large bathrooms, while living areas feature high ceilings and very few walls, visually linking them to other rooms. Kitchens are either completely open or bordered by an island/breakfast bar and, in most units, include all stainless steel appliances.

Throughout the building, residents will find continued touches of the Art Deco flair in lobby and common area decor, and will become quickly acquainted with the Tower's luxury amenities. A first-class fitness center includes both weight and cardio equipment.

Being so near downtown and the Loop means residents of Lakeside Tower have the best of the city near their front door. For retail shopping adventures, Target, Macy's, DSW and Nordstram Rack are all within two miles of the Tower, and the Shops at North Bridge, on the Magnificent Mile, are just 2.2 miles north.

On the dining front, there are plenty of ZAGAT-rated establishments nearby, as well as homier, local chains, like Waffles and Cafe Society. The Opart Thai House, Southcoast Sushi and the Chicago Firehouse, offering traditional American fare like pork chops and pot roast, have all received a ZAGAT rating of 22 or higher and are within a half mile of the Tower."
